Teeth in a Day is a technique for placing implants and the dental restorations all in the same day. Typically, the patient will come in for some visits ahead of time and have the impressions made for the teeth and the teeth are prepared and ready on the day of the procedure. On the day of the procedure the implants are placed and the restoration, which is already available, is placed that same day. The advantage of that is that people can achieve their goals with a minimum number of visits and enjoy the benefits of the restoration right away. So what we can do for patients is have them come in, somebody maybe who is missing a tooth in a spot or missing multiple teeth and we can do a scan for them and a short while later go ahead and plan their surgery and be able to place the implants so accurately, that we can then seed some kind of prosthetic or crowns on top of that implant and know that it will fit and that’s a very unique character to this type of treatment, the digital technology.
