Endodontist Christopher M. James, DMD, MS
Christopher James, DMD, earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2010 from the University of Pennsylvania. After five years of practicing high quality restorative dentistry, Dr. James decided to specialize in the challenging field of endodontics. He graduated and received his Certificate of Endodontics from the University of Tennessee and received the John T. McSpadden Spirit of Service Award. This is a distinction given to one specialty resident annually who has “provided exemplary patient care and pursued excellence in scholarly activity.”
Dr. James is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics and has lectured and presented research results at the annual AAE meetings. He is currently in the Board Certification process after passing the written exam. Board certification is highest accolade in the field of Endodontics. Chris enjoys staying current in his specialty field by attending various continuing education courses. He is also committed to delivering the absolute best care to his patients by incorporation of the latest materials and technology available. He is active in his professional community, actively hosting educational events for other specialists and general dentists on a variety of dental subjects. In addition, Dr. James is bilingual (English/Spanish).
Dr. James was born in California and resides in the North San Diego area with his wife and their four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family and playing tennis with his oldest son.
