Dr. Christian Labonte graduated from the University of Maine and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a pre-medical concentration. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Following graduation, he proudly returned to his home state of Maine, where he worked in a collaborative group practice for four years.
While in Maine, he was an active member of the Maine Dental Association (MDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Greater Portland Dental Society (GPDS), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He spent two of those years volunteering in rural Maine to expand access to dental care and mentor dental school students on their clinical rotations. Dr. Labonte is dedicated to continuing education and expanding his skillset to continue providing compassionate, comfortable, and excellent dentistry. He is actively working towards obtaining his fellowship and mastership status in the AGD.
Dr. Labonte moved to San Diego in the fall of 2025 to return to his wife’s home state as they plan to start a family soon. He has become an active member of both the California Dental Association (CDA) and San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS).
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Labonte enjoys spending time with his wife, Luanna, and their goldendoodle, Brady. They enjoy beach camping, running, skiing, and exploring state and national parks with family and friends.
